We find in our office, again, I’ve been doing this for over 30 years, a combination of the oral sedation, typically either Valium or Halcion, are usually the two main medications that we use for patients to help relax them. And when I say relax them, they’re gonna be completely numb, so they will feel no pain.
The medication that we give them helps them oftentimes to fall asleep during the procedure, or just to relax where their anxiety is gone. We’re not gonna start till we know you’re comfortable, so you can be assured of that. If we need to give you more medication or combine that with a nitrous oxide to help relax you more, then we’ll do that. But we’re gonna do whatever we need to do to make sure that you can come in here and get the necessary treatment that you need and be comfortable.
